Hi, I’m Amanda Pittas and I’m a Clinical Nutritionist. My nutritional background began way back in my late teens when I studied Food Technology. I was fascinated with the science behind food and wanted to learn more. It wasn’t until years later when I began working in the stressful financial industry, that I witnessed how poor food choices, high stress and the lack of a work/life balance was destroying and depleting my work colleagues' health. This was when my passion for food and wellbeing began to shape my decision to switch careers and study nutritional medicine to help others. Fast forward a few years, I founded Nutritional Balance. Shortly after this, I too became victim of poor food choices because I was juggling work, a busy lifestyle and a young family. At this point, I knew that I had to quickly re-evaluate my life and put into practice what I knew about nutrition to help me feel well again.

I know it’s not always easy in today's world of convenience to find the right nutritional balance for yourself. We can prioritise things like work or activities before ourselves, but ultimately end up feeling depleted and have no energy to live out our lives like we want to. This is exactly why it’s my mission to help you find balance in eating well, enjoying the foods you love, and living a healthy and balanced lifestyle. I’m here to show you that healthy eating can be easy and you CAN fit it into your schedule, starting today. You owe that to yourself!
